Kirsten Nichter: Hi, I’m Kirsten,welcome. I’m really glad you’re here. Thank you for stopping by and allowing me to be a small part of your parenting journey. I’m a special education teacher with over 20 years of experience supporting children and families in early intervention and preschool settings. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working across a wide range of ages and environments…from newborns to high schoolers, in homes, classrooms, and community spaces. At the heart of my work is helping parents understand what their child is communicating, especially when behavior feels confusing, overwhelming, or hard. I partner with families to offer practical tools, thoughtful feedback, and developmentally appropriate strategies that make everyday life feel more manageable and more connected. My goal is always the same: to support parents in raising confident, capable, and resilient children…even when the path isn’t easy. I’m also a mom to three incredible humans, and that lived experience deeply shapes the way I show up for families. I know firsthand that parenting is both beautiful and hard, and I believe growth happens when we honor feelings AND build skills together.
